Art at Vibe- Sewing Machine Basic Workshop is for beginners who are looking for an inclusive space to start their sewing journey.
Vibe is offering a fun and creative workshop where you can learn the essentials of sewing! This in-person event is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to sew, regardless of experience level. We are hosting Shiree Dyson, the founder of Sage & Needles. She will guide you through the basics of sewing basics and navigating your machine sewing in this 3-hour workshop. You’ll learn how to set up a sewing machine, do basic stitches, and get hands-on experience with sewing techniques. All materials are provided for the workshop but it will be necessary to bring, borrow or rent a sewing machine. The workshop is for teens (16+).
This class is absolutely free. To retain your space, we will email you to confirm your attendance on the morning of Friday, June 7th. Unconfirmed attendance will be given to another attendee on the waitlist.
